On vous en parlait il y a une semaine, Dash Berlin venait d’annuler consécutivement deux dates pour de mystérieuses raisons de santé à l’ASOT850 Pologne et au festival Spring Awakening. Deux annulations d’autant plus mystérieuses que l’artiste est muet sur ses réseaux sociaux depuis plus d’un mois maintenant. Pour une raison assez simple, Jeffrey Sutorius, le DJ du projet Dash Berlin, n’a tout simplement plus accès à ses réseaux sociaux ! Plus d’explications dans le communiqué de presse ci-dessous :
« Through this statement I inform you that at the end of May I severed my ties with Vanderkleij Agency, Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg (booker and management of Dash Berlin). The reason for ending the relationship is mismanagement in the past several years and neglecting my interests. I recently found out that Molijn and Kalberg together with Vanderkleij Agency registered the name ‘Dash Berlin’ in their own name. I did not realize that as such it might not be possible for me to perform under my Dash Berlin name. I requested my lawyers to put this matter before the court, so that this matter can be resolved. All this has had a negative influence on my health, and I was advised to take it easy. I would have preferred to announce this through my own social media channels. However, after ending the relationship my access to the social media accounts was blocked. I hope that all this can be settled quickly and that I can continue to perform. I love my fans and I hope they will understand. »

En résumé, Jeffrey Sutorius annonce qu’il est séparé fin Mai de ses acolytes Sebatian Molijn et Eelke Kalberg, co-producteurs du projet Dash Berlin mais aussi booker et manager du projet. Jeffrey Sutorius leur reproche des manques dans le management ces dernières années et de la négligence de ses prores intérêts. Par ailleurs, il a également découvert que ses désormais deux ex-partenaires avaient récemment déposé la marque ‘Dash Berlin’ sous leur propre nom. Il n’est donc plus possible pour lui de jouer sous cet alias et il s’est donc lancé dans une bataille juridique via ses avocats, ce qui a eu des conséquences sur sa santé, sans qu’il précise exactement lesquelles. Affaire à suivre !
